What you can do

  • Sign in with email and password, or with Google.
  • Create and manage household inventories with locations and items.
  • Track item quantity, unit, category, store/source, notes, favorite flag, low-stock threshold, and expiration date.
  • Use the + / − quantity controls to update stock quickly.
  • See which items are running low on the Low Stock page.
  • Build a Shopping List from inventory items, low-stock items, or manually added items.
  • Group Shopping List items by store, search, filter, sort, copy, export to CSV, and print.
  • Mark items as bought during a shopping trip — inventory quantities update automatically.
  • Invite household members and manage their roles (owner, admin, editor, viewer).
  • View recent household activity from the Household page.

The Pantry Peak mobile app adds barcode scanning, finance budgets and spend tracking, waste logging, an expiration calendar, and push notifications — available for Android and iOS.

Not yet available on web: AI-assisted input (photo, voice), barcode scanning, store integrations, prices, aisle mapping, checkout, and inventory-level permissions.

Sign-in and accounts

Email and password

  • Create an account with any email address and a password.
  • A verification link is sent to your email. Click it to activate your account before signing in.
  • Forgot your password? Use Forgot password on the sign-in page.

Google sign-in

  • Sign in with any Google Account. Non-Gmail addresses work if they are attached to a Google Account.
  • To switch Google accounts, use Sign out in the navigation header first.

Accepting an invite

  • Invite links must be accepted using the account that matches the email the invite was sent to.
  • For Google sign-in: if the wrong account is picked automatically, sign out and try again with the correct one.
  • If sign-in keeps failing, clear your browser cookies for this site, then try again. Contact us via Feedback if the problem persists.

Households and access

  • Access is managed at the household level. Each household has its own inventories and members.
  • Household members can access inventories according to their role: owner, admin, editor, or viewer.
  • You can belong to multiple households and switch between them from the Household page.
  • Inventory-level permissions are not available yet — all members in a household share the same access level per their role.
  • Empty households can be deleted. Households with inventories or other members cannot be deleted until emptied.

Current limitations

  • AI-assisted input (photo, voice) is not available yet on web or mobile.
  • Barcode scanning is available on the mobile app only — not on web.
  • Finance budgets and spend tracking are available on the mobile app only — not on web.
  • Store integrations, prices, aisle mapping, and checkout are not available yet.
  • Inventory-level permissions are not available yet — all household members share the same access level per their role.
  • Email delivery receipts for invites are not tracked.
  • Broad household deletion (when data exists) is not available — remove all inventories and members first.
